The Supervisors of the Checklist will meet in the Town Building on Wed August 26th, from 7-7:30 pm, any new residents can see us to register to vote. By State law, party affiliation cannot be changed at this session.
The NH State Primary is on September 8, 2020.
Any registered voter preferring to vote by Absentee Ballot, we urge you to contact the Town Clerk, Lissa Boissonneault as soon as possible to get your absentee ballot.
The Supervisors remind residents to bring a photo ID to obtain a ballot for voting on Town Meeting Day and if attending the local school board meetings.

Registering to Vote in New Hampshire
To be eligible to register and vote in New Hampshire a person must be:
- 18 years of age or older on election day;
- A United States Citizen; and
- Domiciled in the town or ward where the person seeks to vote. To register, you will need to provide documents that prove your identity, age, and citizenship. Please visit the State website above for further details if you are not yet a registered voter in Sugar Hill.
